प्याले छलक जाते है, जब आंखों से वोह भरते

आंखों से पिलाना, इस मेखाने की खासियत है

लोग डूब जाते है, वोह आंखें नीची नहीं करते
प्याले छलक जाते है, जब आंखों से वोह भरते

कुछ घूंट आंखों के मैं अभी पी के आया हूं
खुद लूट गया हूं मैं, या कुछ लुट लाया हूं
मैं नशे में चूर हूं, मुझसे नहीं पूछो

सरुर ऐसा है कि अब हम फ़िक्र नहीं करते
प्याले छलक जाते है, जब आंखों से वोह भरते

यहां शमाए बुझ भी जाए ग़र, परवाने फिर भी जलते है
पीना रोक भी दे ग़र, कहां दिल संभलते है
दिल को आज बेहने दो, जन्नत पे दस्तक दे

जनुन इतना है के कमबख्त, ना मरने से है डरते
प्याले छलक जाते है, जब आंखों से वोह भरते

मोहब्बत तीर दे, कमान मैं खुद बना लूंगा
तुम चिंगारी है दो बस, मैं खुद सुलगा लूंगा
कत्ल होने की मेरी ना थी कोई आरज़ू

पर आशिक़ देख ले पल भर, तो ख़ुद-बा-ख़ुद ही है मरते
प्याले छलक जाते है, जब आंखों से वोह भरते

जन्नत की जो थी आरज़ू, हुई महखाने में पूरी
आशिक़ और मुझ में है, प्याले लबों की दूरी
तेरे रूबरू हो कर, मैंने है जो पाया

पाने को उसे फ़रिश्ते, ज़मीन पर है उतरते
